This account will be set up under two people's names. To complete this application you will need to have the personal information of both parties.
To enable Charity Bank to set up your savings account we need to collect personal information about and perform full know your client (KYC) and anti-money laundering (AML) checks on some key individuals from your organisation. The requirements differ between incorporated and unincorporated organisations and are explained below. If you require any guidance before you begin your application you can contact our Savings Team by email:

AML requirements for incorporated organisations (limited companies and limited partnerships):
- The personal details (full names, DOB, address) of two directors (listed at Companies House) to instruct us to open the account, any further signatories on the account (these could include additional directors), all beneficial owners and all persons with significant control are required.
For example: If your organisation has 9 directors listed at Companies House:
- If 1 of the directors (we require the personal details of 2) is listed as a person with significant control and there are 2 additional authorised signatories who are not directors you will need to select 4 from the drop-down above and provide personal details for each
- If the director with significant control is not one of the 2 directors signing the application summary form then select 5
AML requirements for unincorporated organisations(mutual, trusts, partnerships, faith, clubs, unincorporated associations/charities:
The personal details (full names, DOB, address) of
25% [minimum 2 - maximum 4] of management body members, rounded up to the nearest whole number to instruct us to open the account and any further signatories on the account (mandate).
For
trust applications we require the personal details (full names, DOB, address) of the trustees, settlors and beneficiaries.
For example:If your unincorporated organisation has
12 members of its management body, we would require the full personal details for
3 members to instruct us to open your savings account given the 25% requirement. Additionally, if any members (over and above the 3 already listed) were to be signatories we would require their full personal details as we would any additional authorised signatories that are not members of the management body. Therefore, if there were a fourth member of the management body acting a signatory and one non-member you would need to
select 5 from the drop-down above and provide personal details for each.
